Return Policy

IN-STORE RETURNS

Suffolk County Harley-Davidson will accept eligible returns and exchanges with a valid receipt or proof of purchase. Products kept longer than 30 days from the date of purchase are considered final. Products returned in less than new condition cannot be accepted. Refunds will be made in the same manner the customer paid or store credit may be given.

To be eligible for return:

  • Products must be in new unused/uninstalled condition with factory tags and packaging intact.
  • You must have the receipt or proof of purchase.

Not eligible for return:

  • Discounted items. All sales are final.
  • Electrical items and components are not returnable for any reason.
  • Paint and painted parts are not returnable for any reason. All sales are final.
  • Helmets, hats and headgear are not returnable for health and hygiene reasons.
  • Factory cut keys are not returnable. 

REFUNDS

Returns will be refunded to the original form of payment once the items have been inspected. If we are unable to refund to the original payment method, your refund will be made in the form of store credit. Please note that depending on your credit card company, it may take an additional 2-10 business days after your credit is applied for it to be posted to your account.

RESTOCKING FEES

There will be a 20% fee on the return of special ordered products, seasonal (non-core) clothing as defined by HDMC, and inventory we no longer carry.

ONLINE STORE RETURNS & EXCHANGES

Suffolk County Harley-Davidson will accept eligible Online Store returns and exchanges with a valid receipt or proof of purchase within 30 days of the shipping date for a full refund to the original form of payment. Products kept longer than 30 days from the date of purchase are considered final. Products returned in less than new condition cannot be accepted.

You can return your Item(s) directly to the dealership, located at 4020 Sunrise Hwy, Oakdale, NY 11769 or call 631-244-9000. Be sure to present the original packing list so the store associate can best assist you.

Items can be returned by mail. If you received the wrong item, call us at 631.244.9000 Tuesday through Saturday, 9am – 5pm ET and we’ll help you return the item and place a new order.

After your return is received, we'll refund your original payment method and send you an email confirmation that your return has been completed. Please allow up to two billing cycles for the refund credit to appear on your statement.

RETURN POLICY

Final sale merchandise is not eligible for return. All helmets are considered final sale.

All returned items must be in the original packaging and original condition. This includes all product tags, instructions, hardware and accessories.

All returned items must not be scratched, soiled or damaged due to wear or installation.

A leather jacket must be returned in its own individual box and packaged to prevent it from getting damaged during transit. Please use a separate shipping carton(s) if you are returning multiple items from your order.

If you’d like to return items from different orders by mail, you will need to submit separate return requests and use a different box for each order.

RECEIVED WRONG ITEM

If you have received the wrong order or item(s), let us know as soon as possible. Give us a call at 631.244.9000 Tuesday through Saturday, 9am – 5pm ET. We will help you get the gear you ordered.

EXCHANGES

Currently, we are not accepting online exchange requests. However, if there is an issue with your order due to our error, please give us a call at 631.244.9000 for assistance Tuesday through Saturday between 9am – 5pm ET and we will help you return the item and place a new order.

GIFT RETURNS

To return a gift that was purchased from the Suffolk County Harley-Davidson Online Store, please give us a call at 631.244.9000 for assistance between 9am-5pm ET, Tuesday through Saturday. NOTE: that gift returns will be refunded to the original purchaser via the original method of payment.

REFUND INFORMATION

Returns will be processed as quickly as possible but can take 2-3 weeks from the time you mail your return. A refund of the merchandise purchase price and sales tax will be credited back to your original method of payment and will post 1-3 business days after the date of processing. It may take up to two billing cycles for the credit to appear on your monthly credit card statement. You will receive an email when your return is processed.
